Privacy notice

Last updated: 3 October 2026

AirScan is built to collect as little as possible: nothing.

What we collect

Nothing. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, advertising or fingerprinting. There is no account, sign-up, contact form or newsletter.

What the app stores

Transport settings (a WebSocket URL or a serial port) and the scan data you see live only in your browser's memory. They are discarded when you reload or close the page, and are never sent to us or stored on a server.

Network connections the app makes

AirScan connects only to the backend you point it at — the WebSocket endpoint you enter, or the serial device you select. That connection is direct between your browser and your own backend; we do not proxy, record or inspect it. If you connect to a backend operated by someone else, their own terms and privacy practices apply.

Third parties

Fonts and icons are self-hosted and no third-party content, embeds or scripts are loaded. The source is hosted on GitHub, so visiting the repository is governed by GitHub's own policies.

Your rights

Because this site collects and stores no personal data, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. If you have a privacy question, raise it on the project'sGitHub issues.

Security vulnerabilities
